Florida oranges, grapefruit and tangelos are great to have on hand in the winter and make nice holiday gifts. Selections at various price points are available. 40% of the selling price of the fruit goes into the student trip accounts.

Approximate dates

Selling begins 10/12

Order and money due date 11/2

Distribution set-up (2:30-5:30 pm) 12/2

Pick-up Public Works Annex (morning) 12/3

Students also earn money towards their fundraising goal for each distribution set-up and pick-up hour worked (must sell at least two boxes of fruit to get credit). The hourly rate is calculated based upon the amount of citrus sold by all members and the number of volunteers. In 2010, the hourly wage was $5.50. We also need parents to help with distribution set-up and pick-up.

Students should deliver products to customers as soon after pick-up as possible.
