About USC Band Parents Association
The USC Band Parents Association web site is a
resource to keep members of the USCBPA informed about upcoming events,
policies, procedures & other items of interest regarding the Upper St.
Clair band/orchestra programs. For more information on the USC Band Parents

Membership
in USCBPA:
Please
lend your support to all the students through membership in the USC Band
Parents Association. For only$10.00, you will receive a family membership in
the Band Parents Association. The membership fee supports all aspects of the
Association, the students in the music department and offsets copying and
mailing costs. You will be listed as a PATRON in the Band Festival program if
your dues are paid on or before August 15th. Also, most importantly,
insurance coverage will be provided for all chaperones that have paid their
dues.
In
order to chaperone any football game or other trips, work in the concession
stand, or work on fund-raisers you must be a member of the Band Parents
Association.
Your
support is needed and appreciated. Please remember that membership dues
benefit all members of the Band/Orchestra program: the Instrumentalists, Band
Managers, Majorettes, Pantherettes and Color Guard.
We would
especially like to extend a warm welcome to all the new Band Parents. We hope that you will join us in our
continuing efforts to actively support the high standards of excellence that
our music program strives to maintain.

Announcements:
FAST MONEY: The annual
curb painting "blitz" will be Saturday, August 21 at 9am
until noon. Here's your band student's chance to launch fund
raising: he or she can paint curbs AND sell hoagies door to door!
To participate in the Blitz, come to the academic doors of the high school at
9am and get a street assignment. We will have paint kits and paint cans
for for sale. Kits are $16. Paint is $3.50/can. Kits come
with instructions. You pay for the supplies, then all of the proceeds go
into your student's account. The charge is $5/curb number.
Before you can paint you MUST have a permission slip on file.
Students must paint with a band student partner or a
parent.
Students must arrange their own transportation.

STUDENT DATABASE:
The Band
Parents Association maintains a database of student information which is used
for many important purposes including student incentive accounts, mailing
labels, spring trip, etc.
Please complete the form above with family information
including address; phone numbers; email addresses for both parents and
student; and which group(s) your student participates in, such as Concert
Band and Marching Band. Please return to Nancy MacLachlan by September 8th .
