 Citrus Sale
One of our most successful fundraisers
is the annual Citrus Sale which starts on October 15th and runs
for three weeks, with delivery the first weekend in December. Order forms
will be due on November 6th.
We offer fresh Florida oranges, grapefruit, and tangelos, as well as
other selections. The fruit almost
sells itself, and previous customers look for it every year. Students can earn a substantial amount
towards the spring trip by selling a healthy product. Fruit will arrive in time for holiday
gifts, and smaller boxes can even be shipped via UPS.
Each box nets from $5 to $7 for the
student’s account. Students can also
earn $4.00 per hour working at the distribution center if they sell at least
one box. Please encourage your child
to participate in fund-raising. If
they are not in an instrumental music class, remind them to listen to morning
announcements for the pertinent information.
Parents are also needed to help during
distribution (no heavy lifting). If

Important dates:

Wednesday, October
15th – Citrus Sale presentation in all instrumental classes.

Wednesday, November
6th – orders due at the high school, 7:00 am to
7:40 am, outside of the band room before homeroom or if you are unable to
turn the form & $$ in at school, all orders are due to the Leonhard’s,
824 Shire Lane, no later than 8:00 pm

Friday, December 5th – 1:00 pm to
5:00 pm - Citrus Sale set-up (students can work after school from 3 pm to 5
pm)

Saturday, December 6tht –
Distribution of Citrus orders – 9am to 11 am (students can help with
distribution – shifts are available from 8:00 am to 10:00 am or 10:00 am to
12:00 noon)
