House Number Curb
Painting
Rev-up your
painting partner and prepare for the curb painting. This fundraiser involves
students (working in pairs – required) contacting Upper St. Clair residents and, for a
$5.00 donation, painting their house number on the curb. 100% of money
collected is applied to the student’s account. Partners will share the
earnings. This fundraiser has been endorsed by the Chief of Police and the
Township Manager. Curb Painting must be done to quality standards -- and
paint must not be used for other purposes. Cash (not checks) should be
collected for curb painting and the cash turned into the parent in charge of
curb painting.
Students interested in painting must sign up during Band Camp
and find out when they can purchase a supply kit, which costs $15.00;
additional supplies are also available. Remember, a new permission slip is
required each year in order to participate in this fundraiser. Students are
welcome to continue curb painting as long as they so choose. We will need
volunteer parents to assist in driving the students to various neighborhoods.
