USCBPA Volunteers – We need YOU!
Concession Stand:
THE CONCESSION STAND NEEDS YOU –
AND IT CAN BE FUN!!
ATTENTION ALL PARENTS OF MARCHING
BAND, AUXILLIARY, ORCHESTRA, CONCERT BAND, JAZZ,
WIND SYMPHONY, AND WIND ENSEMBLE
STUDENTS!!
COME MAKE NEW FRIENDS! HAVE FUN!
There’s a
reason why the USCBPA is in charge of the concession stand … because we do a
great job! It is the biggest source of revenue to offset the costs of running
our organization. Every student in the instrumental program benefits from
concession sales because funds are used to provide the subsidy portion of
trip costs and reduce the expense to each student.
We ask that
each family volunteer one adult to work at least one football game or two
soccer games.
An early
contingent of 5 people is needed to set up at 5:30 pm for football games and
most soccer games. The remainder of the crew is needed for 6:45 p.m. With
sufficient help the early crew can leave after the half-time rush. Please
support this volunteer initiative.
Look for the Concession Stand volunteer table at Parents
Salute Night. For more information please contact Janie Hollenbach

Chaperones:
‘Tis the season for CHAPERONES – Bring Your
Calendar!
We invite parents to visit the chaperone table during Parent
Salute Night. Please bring your calendar so that you can sign up to chaperone
at your choice of games, festivals, and parades during the upcoming football
season.
Chaperones promote the safety and organization of our students.
They get a free ticket to events at which they chaperone, as well as the fun
of being near the excitement during performances.
We Need Your Help
When many parents agree to chaperone, adequate coverage of the
season’s activities is assured. (If you cannot sign up at Parent Salute Night
or if you would like to secure a chaperone spot for a specific event on the
band calendar, please contact us.) We use e-mail for updates during the
football season, including chaperone reminders. So please include your e-mail
when you sign up. We look forward to seeing you in the stands and on the bus!
