– We need YOU!
Concession Stand
THE CONCESSION STAND NEEDS YOU –
AND IT CAN BE FUN!!
ATTENTION ALL PARENTS OF ORCHESTRA,
CONCERT BAND, JAZZ BANDS, WIND SYMPHONY, WIND ENSEMBLE & MARCHING
BAND/AUXILLIARY/BAND MANAGER STUDENTS!!!
COME MAKE NEW FRIENDS!!
Every student in the instrumental program benefits from the income
generated from concession sales. Funds
are used to purchase necessary equipment and supplies and to provide the
subsidy portion of trip costs. We ask
that each family volunteer one adult to work at least one football game or
two soccer games.
An early contingent of five people is needed to set-up at 5:30 PM for
football games and most soccer games. The remainder of the crew is needed for
6:45 PM. With sufficient help the early crew can leave after the half-time
rush. For each football game we must staff the Home and Visitor side stand,
this requires 25 people; for each soccer game we must staff the Home side
stand, this requires six people. Band Festival is treated like a football
game for staffing.
Please support this volunteer initiative - the alternative is to assign work
dates to families who would then be responsible for finding a replacement if
the date is unsuitable.
Select a football game, two soccer games, or one soccer game and the Band
Festival. Remember, you can volunteer as much as you would like!! This band is
for all of our kids. If lots of parents do a few things; then a few parents
won't have to do lots of things.
To
volunteer in the concession stand, please contact Jane & Chuck Dodd at

Chaperones
Greetings from the
Chaperone Co-Chairs!
We invite you to volunteer to chaperone for the 2007/2008 season. Chaperone volunteers assist the Marching
Band/Auxiliary/Band Managers in a variety of ways before, during and after
the football games (home and away) & band festivals.
Please submit your email address to us.
Email is our best way to communicate quickly to a lot of people
simultaneously. This comes in handy
especially for last minute chaperone needs, rule changes and messages from
Mr. Pickell. It’s a great way to stay
in the loops, so we hope that you’ll join us on that email list. We look forward to working with you this
season!
